are a boutique winery situated in the Orange region of NSW, Australia. Our
wines are created with a refined and elegant structure capturing the cool
climate characteristics of Australia's highest altitude wine growing region.
Our
new 350 tonne winery is the largest within the Orange region and enables us to
produce the finest wines possible. Our 82 acres of vines produce premium
quality fruit ripened slowly and evenly in our warm sunny weather.

Robert Black became the Printhie Wines
winemaker when he was tempted by the prospect of being in charge of a brand
new 350 tonne winery designed and equipped with his input. His skill as a
winemaker has been widely recognised in his achievements as a finalist in
the Young Winemaker of the Year 2001 and Young Winemaker ambassador at Wine Australia
2004. His wines tell the rest of the
story.
Rob is responsible for fruit selection
in the vineyards and all winery operations through to blending and bottling.
His intuition and winemaking talents have been a crucial part of Printhie
Wines' increasing influence in the market place.
